A Passionate Community
The Farmers’ Market at Bishops Corner was established in the summer of 2014 by a group of considerate neighbors with a vision of creating a welcoming, accessible, fun venue to purchase locally grown food and products. Sponsored by the Bishops Corner Neighborhood Association, the market provides a link between West Hartford residents and businesses with Connecticut farmers and vendors while promoting healthy living and eating.
In 2017, our fourth year, we continue to focus on bringing a greater variety of certified local foods into the market. Seasonal vendors this year will provide fresh fruits and vegetables, prepared foods, baked goods (including gluten free and sugar free options), fresh smoothies and juices, culinary grade greens and herbs, dairy products and much more! An exciting variety of guest vendors will round out all your shopping needs with specialty foods, artisanal crafts and flowers! Join us on Facebook to get the latest on special guests, events and new vendors.
Our central location in Bishops Corner, West Hartford enables members of the community to gather and enjoy local vendors, events, and community awareness for all ages. On average, 300 people stop by each week... so join us this Saturday at the market!
